Hi, thanks for the information unfortunately my husband has one on his forehead near his eyebrow and we have not been able as you have explained above to squeeze it to totally get rid of it. I will try your remedy as I know cider vinegar has many good properties in it and will let you know how it works for him. I don't suppose it will look real pretty having a bandaid on his forehead for a few weeks but he is complaining that it is painful for him and just wants to get rid of it. So again thank you for the vinegar tip and I will keep you informed as to how it goes. KM

I would like to encourage discussion on topics of interest to the readers. I know one of my favorites to see are those relating to how different ingredients react in certain situations so we can be more "inventive" with our kitchen "alchemy" :) . I also encourage sharing of knowledge of "weed" recipes. Please ask about particular plants/weeds you might like to have input on best how-to-use and we can share where to find the info about it. Another unusual topic I would like to see more discussion on is for edible flowers. I would like to see everyone equipped to frugally obtain the best nourishment possible for their particular needs.

This is a link to Mike Adam's "Natural News" list of the 10 ingredients which are most important to avoid in the foods you buy. Some are toxic, some have snowballing effects in the body which cause diseases and disorders. But I will let the article tell the story of "What's Really in The Food" listing the 10 "most evil" ingredients:

Greetings, This is the author, (Li'l Ol' RedHen, aka Joyce Simmerman), wishing to add my current thoughts on the Basic Smoothies recipes. Since I first wrote that basic smoothy recipe . as I note at the top .. "My favorites these days all include variations of "Kefir Smoothies". In other words I substitute my fermented kefir milk to whatever smoothy recipe includes any variation of milks. When I was still doing water kefir fermentations I would substitute it for the water smoothies. I now use the kefir whey, if I have it, or possibly a bit of kombucha tea or even a bit of homemade vinegar to the water-based smoothies. By using these variations of fermented liquids as the basis, one is making the smoothy much more "probiotic" rich! Enjoy
